Mozell Alfred Davis Jr.
December 10, 1961 – October 26, 2022

Mozell Alfred Davis Jr., age 60, answered the Heavenly Fathers' call and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born in Centerville, Alabama, a son of Rev. Mozell and Olivia Stanley Davis, Sr. on December 10, 1961.
The family made Fort Wayne their home in 1966. He attended Fort Wayne Community Schools and attended Snider High School. He enlisted into the United States Army and was Honorably discharged in 1981. "June Bug", "JR" and "Moe" as he was known by many, worked as a CNA at various healthcare facilities in the area.
He accepted Christ at an early age and later became a member of The Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of his father. He loved music, especially playing the piano, barbeuing, Cadillacs, watches and rings. He loved having fun telling jokes and Mama's cornbread. He loved his family dearly.
He leaves to cherish many memories to his daughter, Porscha Davis of Fort Wayne; a son, Justin (Tara) Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Gyneiya, Kayla, Karrington and Raye Elizabeth Davis; parents, Rev. Mozell and Olivia Davis of Fort Wayne; sisters, Vivian Davis-Johnson, Ramona Davis, Bralie Pinkston-Brown, Mazell Robinson; brothers, Samuel Davis and Terrall (Tasha) Davis; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were sisters, Shari Walden and Cassandra Anderson; nieces, Latia Davis and April Robinson a nephew, Shawn Terrell and great nephew, Marlon Davis Jr.
