Mary J. Schimmele

Mary J. Schimmele, 98, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 27, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Mary will be remembered as a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a charter member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, David (Sheila) Schimmele of Fremont, IN, Sharon (Stephen) Hensler of Fort Wayne, and Sheila (Stephen) Noble of Raleigh, NC; 9 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Schimmele; son, Michael Schimmele; grandson, Jeffrey Schimmele; and parents, John and Esther Ohse. Service is 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W State Blvd with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
