Mary A. Hutchinson

Our beloved mother, Mary Ann Hutchinson, went home to Jesus on August 5th, 2023. Our mother, Mary, was one of the strongest, most courageous women to ever walk this earth and we were blessed to have her as head of our family. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother and an empathetic listener to anyone who needed an attentive ear. We will never be able to fill the empty space left behind by her. Mary was born to Daniel Wilson Money and Hazel Dillman Money on August 26,1946 in Lima, Ohio. She spent many of her adult years raising her children. She attended Ivy Tech Community College and earned her LPN license in 1995, one of her proudest accomplishments. She loved her plants and was an avid gardener, and she spent many hours on her porch watching the birds and rabbits in her yard. Her faith in Christ was the foundation of her life, and her greatest desire in life was to pass that faith to her children and grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Hazel Money, brothers, Fred Lee Money and Jack Freeman Money, and a sister, Judy Hughes. Mary is survived by her daughters, Stacy (Bob) Revel, JoAnna (Kent) Lynch, Julie Lewis, Angela Morales, and Jennifer (John) Marden. She also leaves behind ten special grandchildren, Madison Rau, Erin (TJ Palmer) Holley, Nicole (Brandon) Freon, Emma Lewis, Zachary Lewis, Jena Ohneck, Scott (Kiley Troye) Hutchinson, Rhett Berryman, Avery Berryman, and Cal Berryman, and eight great-grandchildren, Makenna, Owen, Hadlee, Everlee, Jaxson, Adalina, Henley, and Allison. Funeral service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from Noon, until time of service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. Memorial donations may be given to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
