Margaret Schuhler

MARGARET H. MILLER DuBOIS SCHUHLER, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Canterbury Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on Jan. 26, 1916, in Celina, Ohio. She was employed by Wolf & Dessauer, G. C. Murphy Company, and the Sheraton Hotel as an Assistant Housekeeper. She enjoyed game shows, fishing, gardening, writing, keeping house, cooking, dining out, game shows, being with her friends and family, and most of all - reading. Possessing a strong faith, she was a devoted, long-standing member of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Fort Wayne and at one time was a member of the Rosary Sodality, The Order of St. Francis, and the Marions. She is survived by four children, son, Philip M. (Rheta) DuBois of Stafford Springs, Conn.; daughters, Constance K. (Gerald) Schuckel and Michol (Mickey) Byanski, both of Fort Wayne; son, Frederick T. (Carol) DuBois of Kendallville; son-in-law, Ronald Reece of Fort Wayne; stepdaughter, Janet Linker of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil M. DuBois; second husband, Andrew H. Schuhler; daughter, Pamela Reece; stepsons, Roger Linker and Gerald Schuhler; and stepdaughter, Jean Fisher. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Good Hope, 7215 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
