Lester T Rice

Lester T. Rice, 97 passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Bethlehem Woods Nursing Home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born January 19, 1923 in Allen County, IN to the late Benjamin Paul and Josephine Rice. He proudly served his county in the US Air Corp during WWII. He worked ground maintenance for the Fort Wayne Community School system for 28 years and retired in 1983. He is survived by his long time and very dear friends, William and Judy Daniels of Fort Wayne, IN. Lester was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene (Binkley) Rice in 2004, siblings, Henrietta Aughinbaugh, Esther Swoverland, Rachel Kobiela, Wilma Simpson, Louis Rice, Charles Rice, and Benjamin Rice. Private cemetery services will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Arrangements by D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, IN.
