James Orchard, 79, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at his home. He was born July 14, 1942 in Chicago, IL, son to the late James P. and Helene W. Orchard, Sr. James worked in maintenance for the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center and after retiring he delivered newspapers for the News Sentinel. He is survived by his sister, Pamela Patterson of Miamisburg, OH; brother, Lawrence (Rita) Orchard of Washington, IN; and four nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
