Glenn "Danny" Shroyer

Glenn “Danny” Shroyer, 82, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. He was born July 21, 1940, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Glenn W. and Betty Bell Shroyer.
Glenn graduated from Huntertown High School in 1958. He was a forklift operator at Zollner Piston for over 28 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. Glenn also enjoyed NASCAR and was a serious collector of Diecast Cars, You could always catch him on a Sunday watching the race.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Mildred Jean Shroyer; children, Mark Wayne (Cassandra) Shroyer of South Bend, IN, Scott Alan Schroyer, Debra K. Fahlsing, Brenda Sue Cobb of Lexington, KY, Tammy Lynn (Roger) Cobb of Lancaster, KY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Stuller; son, Larry Horner; son-in law, Richard (Rick) Cobb.
A funeral service to honor Glenn's life and legacy will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. A visitation will also take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
