Elizabeth Girod, age 85, of New Haven, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. Elizabeth was born in New Haven, Indiana. Elizabeth is survived by her son Reuben Girod (Kristine); her son Pete Girod (KatyAnn); her daughter MaryAnn Schwartz (Larry); her daughter & son-in-law Enos Girod; her daughter Saloma Graber (Reuben); her daughter Lovina Zehr (Joe); and her daughter-in-law Fannie Girod; her sister & brother-in-law MaryAnn Graber (Menno), her sister & brother-in-law Malinda Graber (Victor), her sister & brother-in-law Barbara Steury (Reuben), her sister & brother-in-law Esther Stoll (Victor), her sister & brother-in-law Leah Stauffer (Chris), her sister & brother-in-law Marie Wickey (Joe), her brother & sister-in-law Emanuel Brandenberger (Anna Marie) and her brother & sister-in-law Enos Brandenberger (Rosa); her grandchildren 42 and her great-grandchildren 19. A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 AM at Girod Residence, 5619 Thimler Rd, New Haven, IN 46774. A burial will occur Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Milan Center Old Order Amish Cemetery, 14702 Doty Road, New Haven, IN. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at External Service Location, 14702 Doty Rd, New Haven, IN 46774. Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Milan Center Old Order Amish Cemetery, 14702 Doty Road, New Haven, Indiana 46774. Serving as pallbearers are Sam Brandenberger, Victor Brandenberger, James Steury and Eddie Lengacher.
