Neil Erwin Bassin

On Tuesday April 30, 2019, Neil Erwin Bassin of Bethesda Maryland passed away. Born July 12, 1932 to the late Myer and Jean Bassin, loving father of David, Steven, Michael and Richard, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren and survived by Sally E Tash the Mother of his children. A Korean war veteran, lifelong Washingtonian, and owner of a third generation Florist business (Buckingham Florist) in Arlington, VA. Besides his love for his family, Neil’s interests included but were not limited to, Playing and watching Golf, Membership in the Progress Club of Rockville, Private Pilot and of course watching the Redskins. A graveside service will be held at King David Memorial Gardens located in Falls Church, VA at 2:00 in the afternoon on Sunday May 5th. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Neil’s name to the Montgomery Hospice-Casey House at 6001 Muncaster Mill Road in Rockville, MD 20855 or go online to montgomeryhospice.org
