G. Michael Burns

G. Michael Burns, age 63, of Fairfax Station, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014. He was at home at the time of his death with his wife and brother at his side. He was born on August 1, 1951 in Alexandria, Virginia, the eldest son of Charles L. and Gladys Newman Burns. He attended Fort Hunt High School and George Mason University. Mike was the co-founder and CEO of Professional Warranty Service Corporation (PWSC) – nationally recognized as the largest and leading new home warranty administrator. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Spikes Burns, his son, Chris Burns of Aldie, Virginia, and his younger brother, Darryl (Tim) Burns of Merritt Island, Florida. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Thursday, November 6 from 12:00 PM to time of service 1:00 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, Virginia. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM at National Memorial Park.
