David Francis Hurd

David Hurd, 81, of Falls Church was called home by The Lord on August 9th, 2022. David is survived by his sister Mary and brother Donnie; daughter Betty; grandchildren Crystal, Ashley and Victoria; 5 great grandchildren; and his oldest and dearest friend Marsha. He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Mildred and sister-in-law Joannie. Dave worked in the Radio/Television industry for more than 60 years and had a passion for all things electronic and tech. He is best known for his kind heart, words of wisdom, and entertaining stories. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Thursday, August 18th at Murphy’s of Falls Church from 5-8pm. A service will be held on Friday, August 19th at St. James Catholic Church at 1pm. Burial will be held at National Memorial Park at 3pm with reception to follow.
