Wilma Jean Lovell
June 21, 1927 – February 20, 2022

Wilma Jean Lovell, 94, of Evansville, IN passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center. She was born in Pulaski, TN on June 21, 1927 to the late Tom and Lorene Torrence.
She was a Reitz High School graduate, class of 1945. Wilma was a life-time member of Germania, Owls, River Bend and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC German Township.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Shelby D. Lovell; son, Stanley D. Lovell.
She is survived by her son, Steve D. Lovell (Beth); daughter in-law, Theresa Lovell; sister, Sandra Brock Worsham and family; grandchildren, Lisa, Angela and Josh; eight great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Walnut Creek for their compassion and care.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park.
