Obituary of Victor Eugene Blackwell
Victor Eugene Blackwell, of Evansville, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1946 in Evansville, IN to the late Eugene and Evelyn (Logel) Blackwell. Victor graduated from North High School in 1964. He was an apprentice at Faultless Caster and retired from Whirlpool. Victor was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He was an avid collector of Native American and other archaeological artifacts, antiques and bronze and cast iron statues. He enjoyed woodworking. He was funny and had a magnetic personality. He was devoted to his family, adored his grandchildren and would do anything for them. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dee (Remington) Blackwell; daughters, Misty Fellwock (Aaron) and Mandy Gray (Kevin); son, Eric Peter (Dianne); grandchildren, Gabrielle Fellwock (Johnny Zina), Alexander Fellwock, Katie Blackwell-Gray and Railey Gray; and great grandchild, Aingel Fellwock. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Christ Lutheran Church, 200 W. Mill Rd., officiated by Pastor James Culver, with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park where military honors will be conducted by the Retired Veterans Memorial Club. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel and Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
