Stephen Tod Whitehead

Stephen Tod Whitehead, 63, of Evansville, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent. He was born on September 2, 1960 in Evansville to the late Ira Lowell and Vera Jewell (Rutter) Whitehead. Tod was a 1978 graduate of Bosse High School and graduated from USI as an art major and a member of TKE. As a bench jeweler, Tod began his career at Hutchinson’s in Boonville before transitioning to Droste’s Jewelry Shoppes. He retired from Droste’s after 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kent Whitehead. Tod is survived by the love of his life, Judy (White) Whitehead; son, William Morris; daughter, Sara Schroeder (Russell); siblings, Pam Esparza, Kathy Whitehead, Becky Moseley, Mike Whitehead and Greg Whitehead. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Careforth and the first responders for all of their wonderful care of Tod. A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the family home at 2200 Conlin Ave., Evansville, IN 47714.
