Norma Jean Culver, 58, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at VNA Charlier Hospice Center. She was born March 5, 1953, in Evansville.
She was baptized through the Methodist faith. She was a very good cook and enjoyed arts and crafts, camping and fishing. She loved her dog, Lady Isabella.
Norma was preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Berry and Ethel Ferguson, brother, Johnny Lambert; and brother-in-law, Derriel Culver.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Culver; daughter, Debbie Embry; son, Billy Joel Phingston; sisters, Rebecca Lambert and Jenny Walls; brother, Virgil Davis, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Sandy (Kenny) Williams, Bonnie Culver and Lynda Culver; brother-in-law, Garry (Linda) Culver; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 12:00 PM Monday, March 5, 2012, at Methodist Temple, 2109 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Rev. Stephen Buetler, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Charlier Hospice Center or Methodist Temple.
