Nell F. McMillin

Nell F. McMillin, 88, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at at Linda White Hospice House. She was born February 13, 1934 in London, Kentucky, to the late Vander and Maude (Lane) McMillin. Nell was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and played on the church softball team. She retired from Sigeco after 40 years of service. In the 80’s she and her friend, Ruth Helms were very active in the Bus Ministry at Oak Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping and vacationing. She was preceded in death by parents, Vander and Maude McMillin and special friend, Ruth Helms. Nell is survived by nephew, Rodney Unfried (Kimberly) and their son, Carson Unfried; and very close friends and caregivers, Kathleen Qualkenbush and Sandy Dierlam. Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Alan Scott, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
