Mark A. Seifert of Evansville, IN passed from this life on Saturday, April 20. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended Western Kentucky University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He completed his education at University of Southern Indiana. Mark was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
He always enjoyed sports, playing both baseball and basketball. His favorite teams were the Detroit Lions, the St. Louis Cardinals, and any college basketball team.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Emma Lee Seifert, and his faithful dog, Barney.
He is survived by his sister, Becky Kamp and her husband, Kerry Kamp; his niece and nephew who were his pride and joy; Caroline Kamp of Evansville and Kyle Kamp and his wife Lindsay and their newborn son, Grant David of Boise, Idaho. He is also survived by his aunt, Jane Eberhart and uncle, Thomas Schmidt, both of Evansville, and many cousins.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Bessie Adams with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mark was always an animal lover. In lieu of flowers, he would have loved donations being made in his memory to the Spirit Medical Fund at Evansville Animal Care and Control. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderNorthChapel.com.
