Loyd V Webber, 98, of Evansville, IN passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at home. He was born on May 31, 1924.
Loyd retired from teaching at Reitz High School after 33 years. He enjoyed fishing and reading. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.
Loyd was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Bernice Webber; wife of over 50 years, Norma Lee Webber; daughter-in-law, Anne Webber.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Hammelman (Stephen) of Evansville; son, Randall Webber of Eddyville, KY; grandchildren, Phillip Voegel, Laura Ruckman, Stephen Randall Hammelman, Chelsea Burkhart, Thomas Webber; ten great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin with entombment to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 and on Friday from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
