Leilah Taylor

Leilah Ruby Taylor, 47, of New Albany, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. She was born on September 24, 1976, in Indianapolis. She graduated from Harrison High School in 1994 and then attended Taylor University and USI. Leilah was a server for many area restaurants including the Red Geranium in New Harmony and NABC in New Albany. She enjoyed modeling in high school and loved to cook. Leilah was preceded in death by her father, Sanford Taylor; grandparents, Paul and Frances Wright and Clarence and Ruby Taylor. She is survived by her two daughters, Darwi Sandleben of Greeley, Colorado and Quynn Campbell of Louisville, Kentucky; mother, Becky Sinclair of Evansville; brother, Tyrone Taylor of Newburgh; nephews, Stone Taylor and Chase Taylor; cousin, Derek Wright of Evansville; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
