Katrina Smith

Katrina Smith, 54, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was born March 25, 1958 in Evansville. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing on the River Boat. She loved to watch her kids and grandkids playing ball together with her family. Katrina enjoyed cooking. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Katrina was an organ recipient. The family would like to thank her sister, Sheila, for giving her another 8 years of life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Sutton and Barbara Stokes; and stepfather, Dennis Stokes. Katrina is survived by her husband of 36 years, Steve Smith; daughters, Jessica Burke (Christopher), Janna Smith; grandchildren, Lake, Logan, Landon, River; brothers, Bruce Sutton (Debbie), Mickie Sutton (Jill), Greg Stokes (Cindy), John Stokes; sisters, Sheila Browning (Jerry), Denise Stokes; special niece, Lindsay Stokes all of Evansville; many other nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00AM, Thursday, June 28, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery.
