Jerry Sam Hall

Jerry Sam Hall, 86, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021. He was born on April 11, 1935 in Rockport, to the late Ruth (Varner) Jones. He started working at SIGECO at the age of eighteen and retired in 2000 after working there for forty-seven years. Jerry was the treasurer of his church, Fairlawn United Methodist Chursh for many years, was active on several committees, and was involved with the daycare. He was an avid collector of coins, pocket knives, and Coca Cola memorabilia. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Delores; children, Janet Reidford (Rick) and Steven Hall (Carla); grandchildren, Chris Reidford (Emily), Jennifer Coomes (Jonathan), Douglas Hall (Sydnie Freeman), Samantha Hall (Joe Williams), and Dakota Potts; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Blake Reidford, Nolan Coomes, Sylas Cruse, Noah Jones, Jaxson and Able Potts; half-brother, Ken Mitchell; and many friends from his church. A private service will be held and final resting place will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
