Gloria Jean Jones

Gloria Jean Jones, 74, of Evansville, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born November 7, 1946 in Evansville. Gloria loved to mow her lawn, work in her flower garden and help take care of the vegetable garden. She absolutely had great satisfaction feeding the birds, especially the humming birds and robins. Regardless of the temperature, she took great pride in making our home beautiful. Gloria enjoyed traveling with her family. Her grandchildren were the most important part of her life. They put a big smile on her face, and she loved them with all her heart. I bet she is still smiling! Gloria was a beautiful, caring and great lady inside and out. We loved her very much. She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Gray; and parents, Hubert and Dorothy Rogers. Gloria is survived by her husband, Jerry Jones, of Evansville, IN; children, Kayla Burton (Justin), Hopkinsville, KY, Randy Gray (Pam), Wilkinson, IN, Jeffrey Jones (Samantha), Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Taylor, Gracee, Preslee, Brantley, Damon, McKinsey, Tyler and Courtney; great grandchild, Jace; brother, John Rogers; and sisters, Rhonda Stuphen and Linda Collins. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel with visitation from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
