Donald L. Drury
December 24, 1935 – February 20, 2013

Donald L. Drury, 77, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Deaconess Hospice Care Center. He was born December 24, 1935, in Evansville, to the late Joseph and Iona (Snively) Drury.
He served three years in the US Marine Corp and three years in the US Army. He retired from USF Holland and was a member of the Riverbend Association, Owls, and American Legion Post 265. He enjoyed playing golf and cutting up with his friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, attending their school and sporting events. He liked walking his dogs in the park and taking vacation trips with his family and friends.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenny Drury.
He is survived by his partner-in-life, Carolyn Drury; daughter, Shari (Mark) Weinzapfel of Evansville; grandchildren, Olivia, Adam, Roman, Dalton and Cameron; brother, Joe (Joyce) Drury of Fountain City, IN; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Drury of Evansville; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Tony Drury, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
