David E. Daugherty

David Eugene Daugherty, 65, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at his home. He was born April 19, 1956, in Evansville, Indiana to Winfred and Deloris Jeane (Schumacher) Daugherty. David was a jokester, loved his family, friends and his jobs. He worked for the Post Office in Lawndale and enjoyed his customers. No matter the weather, he was always on the job. He also worked at Red Spot Paint. He was a Salvation Army Minister, a witness to everyone he met. He will truly be missed by all. David is survived by his wife, Monica Daugherty; daughters, Karrie Ruhl (Kenny), Samantha and Elizabeth Daugherty; son, Kyle Daugherty (Megan); sister, Margaret Holland; brother, William Daugherty; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and two sister-in-laws. Friends may visit Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel. Contributions may be made to the Family to help with expenses.
