Charles “Keith” Vaught, 65, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born December 7, 1948, in Evansville, to the late Garland and Doris (Knotts) Vaught.
He graduated from Reitz High School, retired from Alcoa, and had owned and operated his own gas station. He was a very active member of the West Side Nut Club and was past Chairman of the Parade and Electrical Committee, as well as many other committees.
Keith is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Grant) Mattingly; son, Michael (Sami Sparrow) Vaught; grandchildren, Adelyn and Leigha; brother, Danny Vaught; ex-wife, Kay Vaught; and special friend, Ron Lehr.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Joe Fraccaro, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
