Charles J. McReynolds, 83, of Evansville, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019. He was born June 24, 1936 in Evansville to the late Fred and Mary (Chaffin) McReynolds.
He worked for National Life Insurance, Alcoa for over 28 years, Mead Johnson as a lab assistant and was a security guard with Clark Detective Agency. He enjoyed photography and was a CB radio operator.
Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth McReynolds; children, Kimberly Gross, Mark McReynolds and James McReynolds (Margaret); grandchildren, David Winner (Summer), Christopher Winner (Amber), Derek Gross (Sarah), Jacob Beard, Kara Gonterman, Jessica Boarman (Joshua), Elizabeth McReynolds and Melissa McReynolds; many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Parkview Health Care and Heart to Heart Hospice for their care.
A Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Robert Simpkins, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the funeral home.
