Mary Ruth Kilby

Mary Ruth Kilby, age 89, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Blue Ridge Christian Home in Bealeton, VA. Born May 16, 1927 in Rappahannock County, VA, to Robert W. Fincham and Annie Maude Fincham, Mary retired from the A & P Grocery Store after over 30 years. She was a member of Alum Springs Baptist Church, volunteered reading to children in school and loved gardening. Surviving Mary are her siblings, Pauline F. Jenkins, Jack Fincham, Joe Fincham (Erma Jean), Doris Creel (Gordon) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary’s husband William Earl Kilby and siblings, Billy Fincham, Margaret F. Lee and Jean Schaffer preceded her in death. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home Monday, March 20, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
