Billy Ray Darnell Sr.

Billy Ray Darnell, Sr., age 65, of Louisa, VA passed away at his residence Thursday, December 30, 2021. Born July 29, 1956 to the late Willis Elmer Darnell and Velvia Lee Stidham Darnell, Billy made his life in farming. Surviving relatives include his children; Billy Ray Darnell, Jr. and his wife Christie, Amanda June Darnell and her husband Kevin Bibb, Shana Demarise Darnell and her partner Martin Yacoub, Kaylor Marie Darnell Coates and her husband Michael, Aaron William Darnell and his wife Emily, his siblings; Curtis Patten Darnell, Frances Karen Mullins “Dopey”, Edgar Bert Darnell, Jimmie Elmer Darnell Rebecca Robertson, Kimberly Rose Darnell, Steven Darnell and a step sister Melissa Kirby, grandchildren; Joshua Aaron Darnell, Dennis Edward Darnell, Shane Alexander Bibb, Stephen Gage Bibb, Keeley Faith Lewis, Toby Leigh Parsons, Jr., Robert Edwin Coates, Abel Dennis Coates, Gracelyn Kirk Darnell, Byrun Maximus Darnell, Ella Harper Ruth Darnell, Baby Girl Darnell, special thanks to Sheila Hume, Tiffany Mullins and Anita Volante and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his son Byrun Edwin Darnell and siblings Edith J. Bunch, Shirley Ann Jacobs and Swanson Tex Darnell precede Billy in death. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at New Life Baptist Church, 12302 Alum Springs Road, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Grant Hardeman and Uncle Lee Stidham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
