Sharon K. Rapier

Sharon K. Rapier Ulibarri September 4, 1959 – October 27, 2024 Sharon Rapier, age 65, of Taylor, AZ, passed away on October 27, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Norman Ulibarri; her father, Richard Szymaszek; her children, Valerie Wilczewski, David (Staci) Laud, and Rachel (Ken Blank) Laud; nine grandchildren, Rhett, Brandon, Rubi, Mathew, Marissa, Kortney, Samuel, Benjamin and Kenny; and her sister, Lisa (James) Kolanowski. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Szymaszek; and sister, Mary Szymaszek. Sharon was a graduate of Morton High School in Hammond. She was a licensed barber in Indiana and Arizona. She worked as a cashier for over 20 years at Bashas grocery store. A memorial visitation for Sharon will be held Friday, November 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana located in Hammond in Sharon’s name. mhanwi.org.
