Marilynn E. Rash

Marilynn E. Rash, age 86, of Griffith, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. She is survived by her three daughters, Sheila Schweighardt of Griffith, IN, Diane (Randy) Zubrick of Hebron, IN, and Joann (Michael) Keck of Griffith, IN; her brother, Robert Gebert, six grandchildren, Kyle and Lindsay Johnson, Katelyn (Zubrick) Fleming, Morgan Zubrick, and Emily and Jason Keck; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Rash; daughter, Linda Schweighardt; and parents, William & Mildred Gebert. Marilynn was a member of the Griffith United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She retired as a Proof Operator Supervisor after years of service. After retirement, she loved gardening, home projects, vacations, bowling, dancing, and baking holiday cookies with her grandchildren. A Visitation for Marilynn will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 PM.
