Earline R. Young

Earline R. Young, age 91, of Cedar Lake, IN passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. She was born in Warrior, AL. Earline was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, James Young; parents, Ezra James Jones and Minnie Ellen Jones (Chambers); siblings, Milfred, Alfred, Louis, Owen, Sidney, Lucille, and Agnas; and son-in-law, Stan. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Joe) Gifford of Valparaiso, IN, Sheila Zack of Cedar Lake, IN, Wendy (Jamie) Englehart of New Albany, IN; son, Mark (Christy) Young of Fort Myers, FL; her grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Zack, Brian (Angie) Gifford, Christopher (Janneal) Gifford, Jennifer Zack Brooks (Paul), Brittany Englehart Rocha (Estevan), Brandon Englehart (La'Shyla), Madison Young, and Christian Young; and her great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Zion, Caitlin, Zachariah, Evan, Eli, Cayleigh, Alex, Caydence, Lily, and Ariyah. Earline retired from Dunhill Cleaners. She was a founding member of Calvary Assembly of God, Munster, IN, and a member of Hammond 1st Assembly for 65 years. She also faithfully attended Suncrest Christian Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307.
