Bonnie D. Christopher age 82, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Conroe, Texas.
She is survived by her children, Carlin (Sharee) Christopher of Fort Wayne, IN and Kathryn Christopher of Conroe, TX; 3 grandchildren, Coleen Christopher of Fort Wayne, IN, Ashley (Michael) Sutherin of Noblesville IN and Justin (Mary) Christopher of Fort Wayne, IN; 5 great grandchildren, Morgan Christopher, Jaime White, Thea Christopher, Allie Sutherin and Gabe Sutherin and sister, Linda Ferrari.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Christopher.
Bonnie was born November 11, 1938 in Gary, IN to the late Carlin M. and Emily E. Felter and was a graduate of Merrillville High School. She went on to attend Purdue University Lafayette. On February 20, 1960 she married the love of her life, George Christopher and together they shared 40 years together. Bonnie was the owner and operator of Cuisine Unlimited in Merrillville, IN. She also worked as a clerk for the Lake County Government Complex in Crown Point, IN.
She and George enjoyed spending their vacation time with family in California and on White Lake in Michigan.
Bonnie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Minister Roger Wills officiating.
Inurnment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
