L. Marie Brom

L. Marie Brom, 88 of Silver City, New Mexico and former Fayette County resident, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas.
Marie was born September 3, 1924 in Fayette County to Henderson and Carrie Rowland Sizemore. She had a great love of reading and especially loved poetry. Marie attended Indian Hills Baptist Church and enjoyed helping at the Mission in Silver City.
Marie is survived by her children and their spouses: Bill Wallace; David Wallace and Penny, all of Greensfork, IN; James Rowe and Patty, Lonnie Rowe and Mary, Jay Rowe and Leslie, Beth Isaacs and Rick, all of Connersville; Donna Woods and Roy of London, Kentucky; Toni Etheridge of Silver City, New Mexico; Keri LaPorto of Datil, New Mexico; Kristi Meredith of Richmond, Virginia; twenty grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband: Sidney Brom; two grandchildren: Zachary Thomas Meredith and Rodney Wickline; three brothers: Chelsie, Fred and Ray Sizemore; her sister: Hager Ross and four infant brothers.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2012, at the Western Avenue Baptist Church in Connersville. Friends may visit at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hager Ross GED Scholarship Fund in care of the Fayette County Foundation, P.O.Box 844, Connersville, IN 47331.
