Deborah Evans

Deborah Evans, 66, died Monday, March 20, 2023 at Reid Health in Richmond. Debbie was born October 14, 1956 to Elmo and Marilyn Drew Lynch in Connersville, and later attended Connersville High School. On November 26, 1986, Debbie married the love of her life, Danny Evans; together they shared thirty-five years prior to his death on April 30, 2022. She was employed at Visteon but spent most of her years as a homemaker. Debbie enjoyed watching college basketball, especially IU and cheering on the Colts. She and Danny spent many year perfecting their woodworking skills. In addition, they shared a love of classic cars and attended every car show possible. Debbie was an avid animal lover, with a special place in her heart for cats. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends and her husband Danny. She is survived by her brothers: David B. Lynch and his wife Mary, Bradley Lynch; Cousins: Karen Hudson, Angela Hudson; special friend: Kelly Mullins; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention. In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her husband Danny. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel North Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1:00p.m., until the time of service.
