Francisco “Iko” Reyes Villena

Francisco “Iko” Villena passed away peacefully on February 24th, 2023, at the age of 66, surrounded by his family in Burnaby Hospital. He had an 11-month long battle with cancer. Despite the pain, Francisco came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end. Francisco is survived by his wife Menchie, three children Melanie (Lanie), Frederick (Erick) and Fred (Rainier), and four grandchildren Francis (Kiko), Mikaela (Kaela), Felix (Xian) and Maxine (Max), son-in-law Franz and daughter-in-law Maria (Jedel). He also left behind his four sisters, Minerva, Fe, Nora, and Leah. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him. A generous, hardworking, and one-of-a-kind person he is to most and a loving husband, papa and lolo to his family. Special thanks to all the nurses, doctors, and staff at Burnaby Hospital who shared great compassion taking care of our father. Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023, from 10am – 4pm at Ocean View Funeral Home Chapel, at 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.
