Roy Parker Morgan III

Roy Parker Morgan, III, 65, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on July 24, 2024 at Methodist/IU Hospital in Indianapolis. Roy was born in Indianapolis to Roy Parker Morgan, II and Mary Settles Morgan, on February 15, 1959. He went to high school at Emmerich Manual. He married Shirley on March 5, 1988. He worked as a machinist at Allisons Transmission for 30 years, where he retired. He received many awards from Allison’s, including a 25 yr Anniversary award. Roy is preceded in death by his father, Roy P Morgan, II, brother, Larry, and great grandson, Jaxon. Roy is survived by wife, Shirley Perdue Morgan, Children, David Morgan, R. Scott Baker, Andrew K. Baker (Carrie), Jennifer Baker and Brandy Dennis (Sarah). Siblings are Billy Morgan, Leo Morgan (Sherry) and Carol Morgan. Grandchildren, Nevada, Christopher, Aubrey, Sam, Zion, Keagan, Kailyn, Iseabaila, Alex, Lottie, Doria, Olivia, Parker. Great Grandchildren, Elyas and Irys. Visitation will be Sunday, 7/28 from 3:00 – 7:00 at Little and Sons in Beech Grove, IN. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29th at Little and Sons with Eric Hallett of Southeastern Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetary. Arrangements are by Little and Sons. Memorials may be given to the Parkinsons Foundation or Tails and Trails.
