Carl E. White

Carl E White died peacefully in Indianapolis, Indiana on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the age of 90. Carl is survived by his sister Jean of Saginaw, MI, sons Doug (Barb) White and Brent (Peggy) White, of Normal, Illinois and Carmel Indiana; his grandchildren Erin (Omar) White Ulvi, Meghan (Brad) Lange, Emily White, and Michael White; and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy, his parents and siblings. Carl was born April 21, 1927 in Mount Vernon, Indiana. He served in World War II in the United States Army. After returning, he worked at St. Francis Hospital in Indiana for the majority of his career. He was known for his ability to fix anything, and his love of fishing. Visitation will be held Saturday August 12th from 10:00-11:30 AM at Little & Sons Funeral Home 1301 Main St. Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM in the Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carl’s life. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
