Juanita Newman Phelps

Juanita Newman Phelps, 73, of Ashland, talked her way through those pearly gates on Saturday, October 6, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Phelps. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Wendy Mayhew (Kenny); granddaughters, Stella and Sydney; and sisters, Edna Williams (Emmett) and Patricia Anderson. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005, with a Celebration of Life service at 6 p.m.
