CLYDE E. PHELPS
On December 31, 2013. Born June 25, 1925 in Denver, CO. He served in World War II, 90th Division, U.S. army; saw combat in Normandy after D-Day through the Battle of the Bulge; worked for CIA and taught government and history at Fort Hunt High School. Husband of the late Iris V. Phelps for 54 years. Survived by children Allen Phelps, Mark Phelps (Florence), Kimberly Seaman (Alan); grandchildren David Seaman and Kevin Seaman. Visitation on Friday, January 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 South Washington St., Alexandria, VA 22314. Services will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, 8412 Richmond Ave., Alexandria, VA 22309 on Saturday, January 4, 10 a.m. Interment Quantico National Cemetery on January 20, at 9 a.m.
