Elaine Davidson

Elaine Ziglar Davidson, 89, of Williamsburg passed away on October 3, 2013, surrounded by her beloved family. Elaine was a retired accountant for the Hampton City Schools. She was known for her caring, compassionate personality and her infectious smile. She was an everyday witness to her amazing, steadfast faith. She is survived by her daughters, Jan Davidson (Ralph Patterson), Kathy Mayes (Dave), Susan Thompson (Greg); grandchildren, Brian Roberts (Jennifer), Erika Ferguson, Jamie Ferguson, Jesseca Thompson, Colton Thompson; great-granddaughter, Haley Roberts; sister-in-law, Anne Ziglar; nieces and nephews, Amy Powell, Linda Freeman, Joe Ziglar, Bill Ziglar; and a multitude of friends. She will be missed. A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6 from 2-4 PM at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, followed by a graveside service at the James River Baptist Church Cemetery, 4931 Centerville Rd., Williamsburg.
