Virginia Rae Ingersoll, 81, passed away on February 5, 2023. She was born on March 16, 1941 to the late William Paul and Vera Mae Taylor in Cleveland, Ohio.
Virginia was a Real Estate Broker for C.C. Taylor Realty. Born in Cleveland, OH, and graduated from James F. Rhodes High School. After moving to Texas, Arizona, and Upstate New York she settled in Virginia Beach in 1972. This year she completed her 50th year in her house in Pembroke Meadows.
She is survived by her daughter Zoah Ingersoll and son, Michael Ingersoll and his wife Celine; brothers, Jay P. Taylor and Richard (Red) Taylor; grandchildren, Eric, Chelsea, and Carrie Ingersoll; and niece, Kathy Taylor Little.
Virginia was loved by her family as a "backup mom". Ginny was an avid pet lover and never without a dog. She loved interacting with her neighbors and was well-regarded by them. She worked in Real Estate and Property Management for 44 years as the owner and Broker of C.C. Taylor Realty.
A celebration of life for Virginia will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, 601 North Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23462.
