Ruth Atkins Triplett, 97, passed away on March 29, 2019. She is predeceased by her husband, James Triplett. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Eddy Triplett and his wife, Norrie; her daughter, Jane Crawford; her granddaughters, Kelly Kyle and husband, Gerard, Emily Silvent and husband, Cris, Sherry Triplett, Cathy Howell, and Nancy Frank and husband, Luke; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk. The family sends many thanks to Bon Secours Hospice and to Leslie Tate, Lil Les Tate and Norma McQuerrey.
