Peter Rudolf Donat

Peter Rudolf Donat, 67, passed away on August 12, 2021. He was born in Mühlheim am Main, Germany to the late Josef and Maria Donat. Peter served many honorable years and retired as an Engineering Officer with the US Merchant Marines. He is predeceased by his wife, Claudette Donat; and sister, Gabriele Loehr. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Michele Drews; granddaughters, Lennox Wood and Heather Harding; and brother, Thomas Donat. A graveside service will be held at Princess Anne Memorial Park, 1110 N. Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454 on Wednesday, Aug 25 at 10am where he will be laid to rest next to his wife of 38 years.
