Lori Ellen Parks

Virginia Beach- Lori E. Parks, 49, passed away peacefully May 7, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Parks was born December 12, 1960 to the late George and Irene Stout in Flemington, N.J. She was a Teachers Assistant at Bayside Elementary School. Lori’s passion in life was working with children and being a mother. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 23 years, John Parks; son, Matthew Parks; sister, Lucia Lihou and husband Norman; three nieces: Susan, Veronica, and Tracy; and four nephews; Eddie, Joey, Jeff, and Henry. She is preceded in death by both parents; and two sisters; Marianne and Irene. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home with a celebration of life to be held at 7:00 pm.
