Sandra "Sandy" Faye Neice (Ramey), 84, of Terre Haute, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 11:43 a.m., Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, in Union Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born on September 20th, 1939, in Terre Haute, IN, to Hughie Miller Ramey and Imogene May Bryant. She graduated from Gerstmeyer Tech High School in 1957. She loved God, her family, and her friends. She enjoyed reading her Bible, singing worship songs, watching her hummingbirds, gardening, going to yard sales, doing puzzles with her granddaughters Ashley and Rachel, reading, board games, cooking, decorating cakes, cleaning the house, sewing, and traveling all over North America with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Donald Lee Neice, daughters Brenda Lee Ross and Cheryl Lynn Conwell, great-grandson Mark W. P. Leach, son-in-law Anthony Ross, and granddaughter-in-law Dana Neice (Rupnick). She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Patti) Neice, Brian (Gloria) Neice Sr, Steven B Neice, and Mark W Neice, as well as her son-in-law Michael Conwell. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Robert Neice, Neal (Karlie) Neice, Michael Neice, Jessica Neice, Brian (Kelsey) Neice Jr, Corey Neice, David (Susan) Neice, Matthew Neice, Heavenlee Neice, Ashley (Coty) Ewing, Rachel Neice, Henry Paul Neice. Her great-grandchildren; Jacob Ewing, Roman Ewing, Zachary Ross, Grace Neice, Brian Neice III, Serenity Neice, Oliver Neice, Matthew Leach, Amber Leach, William Neice, Luke Kingery, David Neice Jr, Kaidence Neice, and Roselilly Lawson. Her step-great-grandchildren Makayla (Anthony) Cheng and Andrea Pridemore. She is also survived by her younger siblings, James (Diane) Ramey, and her sissy boo Jeri (Kenny) Lawrence, her ex-daughter-in-law Debbie Olgus, many nieces, nephews, cousins, her oldest and dearest friend Margo King Murray and her favorite Grand-dog Tippy. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She made many friends in her lifetime, and she cherished them all. Her name, Sandra Faye, came from her paternal grandparents' neighbor, Mary Ann Archer Brackall, who named her Sandra, and her mom's favorite actress, Faye Margaret Emerson. Visitation is Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., with services at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St. Pastors Adam and Angela Millar will be officiating.
