John William McNish

John William McNish age 90, of Port Republic, Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023. He was born on February 7, 1933 in Washington, D.C. to Alvin Greene McNish and Lillian Neal Harig McNish. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Catherine Jane McNish; three children, John Holler McNish, Kenneth James McNish, Amanda Jane Williams; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was an US Army Veteran and served in the Army Security Agency and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling throughout all 50 states. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
