Charlene (Weaver) Kiser

Charlene Marie (Weaver) Kiser, 92, of Stuarts Draft passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Augusta Health, Fishersville. Born November 14, 1931 in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Jason Hartman Weaver, Sr. and Marie Elizabeth (Martin) Weaver. Charlene was a founding member of Waynesboro Mennonite Church. She was a woman of great faith, having spent her mornings and evenings in deep prayer and daily devotions. Charlene loved spending time with her family, working puzzles, reading and watching sports on T.V. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Kiser, Sr.; brothers, Elwood Weaver, Ralph Weaver, and Jason H. Weaver, Jr.; and sisters, Nancy (Weaver) Barnhart and Lorene (Weaver) Suter. Survivors include her children, Randall L. Kiser and wife, Sharon, of Stuarts Draft, Linda (Kiser) Burkholder and husband, Dwight, of Stuarts Draft, Roy Daniel Kiser, Jr. and wife, Toni, of Waynesboro, and Jeffry L. Kiser and wife, Rebekah, of Stuarts Draft; 11 grandchildren, Bethany Bocketti, Kylene Riley, Douglas Burkholder, Latonya Esau, Susan Koo, Kelsey Kiser, Roy D. “DK” Kiser III, Ariel Kenney, Sierra Mauga, Jeffry Lamar Kiser II, Faethor Justice Kiser; 19 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Emerson, Gracyn, Reece, Quinn, Reuben, Graham, Canaan, Josie, Aerily, Ryleigh, Brady, Jax, Brix, John-Levi, Judah, Asher, Ronin, and Nora; and numerous nieces and nephews. Following a private family burial, a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Waynesboro Mennonite Church, 1801 Monroe St., Waynesboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the church.
