Kristin Aileen (Bundy) Quinn, 41, of Staunton, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville. Kristin was born on October 28, 1982 to Kathleen and Thomas Bundy. She went to Chancellor High School in Fredericksburg, VA where she played the flute and met the love of her life in marching band. She married Christopher Quinn on July 8, 2006, in Orange, VA. Kristin graduated from Barton College in Wilson, NC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Deaf Education. She later earned a Master's degree in Chemistry and Life Sciences from the University of Maryland. They moved to Staunton, VA so she could teach science at the Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind. For the past year, she has been a consultant for Early Childhood Development with the University of Virginia. Kristin loved making jewelry and being a Mary Kay representative. She was also a member of a sign language performance group called Harmony for many years. Growing up she loved dancing, a talent and love she shared with her daughter. Kristin is survived by her husband of 18 years, Chris Quinn of Staunton; her daughter, Kora; her parents, Thomas and Kathleen Bundy of Raphine; and her siblings, Becky Bundy and husband John Guy of Maine, and Justin Bundy of Raphine. She is also survived by her nephews, Owen and Aiden; niece, Kayla; mother-in-law, Debra Quinn; and sister-in-law, Heather Revell and husband Brian. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be conducted at Bridge Christian Church at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 5, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Kristin’s name to the National Pancreas Foundation.
