Avis de décès
Khiem van Nguyen
15 juin 1946 – 10 juin 2024
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Khiem Van Nguyen, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Khiem departed from this world on June 10, 2024, surrounded by his family and enveloped in their love.
Khiem was born on June 15, 1946, in Bien Hoa, Vietnam. He was the eldest son of five children. Growing up in a small, close-knit community, Khiem developed a strong sense of family, community, and faith. These values would guide him throughout his life. He also served in the Vietnam War.
Khiem leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and love that will continue to inspire and guide his family and friends. Khiem is survived by his two sisters, Nguyen Thi Xuyen and Nguyen Thi La, brother, Nguyen Ngoc Ha, five daughters, two sons, and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Luong Thi Lung, parents, Nguyen Van Bam and Tran Thi May, and brother, Nguyen Van Minh.
A celebration of Khiem’s life will be held on June 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Basilica of Saint Andrews, followed by a burial at Blue Ridge Memorial Garden.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that Khiem is now at peace, watching over us with his gentle smile. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, dear Khiem. You will be forever missed and never forgotten.
Blue Ridge Funeral Home is assisting the family.
