Thomas Warren Pearson

PEARSON, Thomas W., 98, of Richmond went on to be with our Lord on Monday, November 17, 2014. He was a loving husband and father. He honorably served our country in WWII. Tom was a member of First Baptist Church for 70+ years and loved his Fellowship Bible Class. He was a founding member of Old Dominion Appalachian Trail Club. He loved outdoors and gardening. He was an avid skier and hiker. Thomas was a member of the Richmond Camera Club and a talented photographer. He received his Master’s degree in religious studies from Union Presbyterian Seminary. He was a lifelong scholar, loved music and poetry. Thomas was among the first graduating class of the University of Richmond Professional and Continuing Studies and supported his alumni through several scholarships. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5 to 7pm at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. where services will be held 11am Wednesday, November 26, 2014.
